Some sights are interesting. Patuxai is a nice Lao version of the Paris \u201cArc de Triomphe\u201d. The stupa \u201cPha That Luang\u201d is a national symbol: quite big and nice\u2026 for Laos, read very far from those in Myanmar! The charm of the quiet Vientiane is more on the Mekong side: many enjoy the avenue along the river. The single speed (fixed) bikes are very popular among the kids there.
